Intertwining Melodies, or IM, is a co-ed a capella group at Carleton College. While we don’t have a set “genre”, we tend to sing mostly R&B and gospel music (with a little Disney every now and then). For a sampling of songs we’ve done over the past few years, visit our Melodies section.
We have 13 members; 7 ladies and 6 gentlemen. Between us, we decide on and arrange all of our own songs. If you’d like to know more about these talented individuals, click on the Meet IM tab at the top of the page.
We usually hold auditions at the beginning of the year, so if you’re interested in becoming part of IM, look for posters at the beginning of fall term and at the activities fair (Friday of 1st week)! If you want to come see us perform, check out our Upcoming Events tab- we’ll keep you posted on all of our concerts, etc.
